Can I say “no sooner than in the last week of May” on the job interview?

I should start college no before 1st May. I have already worked. Can I be in my class for 6 weeks now?

Why is that correct? I am not sure because I could not find any similar sentences with weeks or months. I see no similar sentences by months. I expect that I can start to work on my career in June or July.

I want to do exactly that.
