“But there are/are” vs “than”

How can I tell which of these sentences are grammatically correct? What is the difference between “all” and “all”?

  1. Now that we live in Canada, how many cars do we have?

  2. My friends and I have been driving more than 80k in the last 14 days, and there are more cars than people in this country.

  3. There are more cars in this country than there are people,

  4. but every year, more cars are sold than people make as a result.
