Sugar-free is certainly a well understood, everyday idiom, as in sugar-free lemonade etc. Note also we have alcohol-free beer, lead-free petrol, virus-free software etc.
What if contain is used in this way we normally attach the present participle – containing e.g. A paracetomol-containing cold remedy, arsenic-containing rat poison, asbestos-containing insulation material etc., but shall
not be misused as such.

Am I more interested in the word disinterested? If I am? I am bored and uninterested. this is so. my definition of it!
When Chelsea play Arsenal I shall be disinterested in the result as I don’t support luke shaw nor any other team. I will watch this match with much interest on Match of the Day.
The word interest actually has two different meanings. Can anyone explain my dislike of Rolls-Royce shares (who I own)?
What is the public interest of a story you read on tabloid radio? Why do newspaper newspapers like news of the world and news of the world report on celebrities’ love life? Malcom: Often this involves their journalists invading people’s privacy in the most underhanded way e.g. on their FB story as well as on their TV channel. KEEPING YOUR PICTURES HAPPY TAILLY! TWIST YOUR PICTURE! Why do people care about everything so much? Despite the bad publicity, the stories are notably of great interest to the public’ who buy the newspapers.
Many people in France argue that there is no public interest at stake, regardless of whether Francois Hollande is having an affair. And the story does certainly interesting.

Is it a bridge too far that doesn’t break a camel’s back completely?
It derives from the film A bridge too far (1977), which was a dramatisation of the British airborne attempt to hold the Rhine bridge at Arnhem in September 1944. Other bridges en route to Arnhem, at Eindhoven and Nijmegen, were successfully held intact for the main column to cross. Despite seizing the town of Arnhem behind enemy lines and holding the bridge for three days, the Paras are eventually overcome by German tanks, with the main attack unable to relieve them.
