I’m a lot of all about catching a party, which was very popular. I’m really happy with my comments. Or quite a few hundred at the gathering. There were quite a few hundred at the gathering.
I suppose it could be argued that quite is qualifying the singular number or a few.
There were quite some numbers gathered on the beach or: There
were quite sixty people in the house but this last is not exactly the same idiom.

I have retired accountant! What are your questions? Pro-rata is accountancy jargon, usually in adverbial context, though sometimes as a verb, for the dictionary verb prorate (a.k.a. prorate.)
This is not a word is restricted to finance. In Oxford Dictionary Online “Pro-rata” meaning allocate, distribute or assess?
What type of account you describe is used to refer to pro-rata? It is merely a rate per month. I see nothing wrong, in this context, with the terms periodize or annualize which you suggest.
Pro-rata is used where a cost, capital expense, or item of income, cannot otherwise be individually allocated (e.g. tax or tax)? Is a department, cost centre, project, or through other employees, apportioned on the basis of something else?
Example. What is a building used by a number of different businesses? How do rent and other building costs be allocated to each individual entity? A common method would be to pro-rata expenditures based on floor area occupied. The overall cost would be calculated as a rate per square foot and then charged to the different entities based on the area each occupies.
Inside an individual company overheads are pro–rated in this way based on a number of different factors e.g. cost of materials, labor, management costs etc.. Based on the basic operating characteristics, overhead costs are not included in the equation. (Independent factors) Personal cost of employee.
Is an absolute solution to the questions you asked apportion (give or allocate)?

Is it possible to create a word from a sound? Usually, that “sound” is a natural sound e.g. Cuckoo or sizzle is a word for cuckoo and it is pictured in the caption. Is there more than one alternative word to a common one?
