What’s the difference between a door/door that’s to another world and one in another world?

The preposition to indicates that the place or object concerned serves to transport a person from one world to another. Is it like a bridge? How do I enter this world?

In this sense, diving gear transports a diver from a land world to a sea world by allowing the diver to explore the world underwater.

    When the door to the

tomb belonged to the Khmer Empire, it had to be found

by the next visitor outside the tomb, and at the same time they were required to enter the tomb from outside.

    This

implies that the Egyptians were already inside the tomb when they

found a door that led elsewhere, which is what was once very likely, as it is what other people did later in the empire.

So in your example a door to another world suggests that the restaurant offers diners an experience that is totally new to them. Let me try there. When someone stumbles onto an identical door in another world, at least it’s possible that he is already trapped somewhere else on the other world. What ideas do restaurateurs really have?

Symbolism: The sentence is not ambiguous although it’s not clear where the delegates are from or who they represent.

They may or may not be from ABC corporation; it’s possible, although it seems unlikely, that a single corporation might send many delegates to a conference.

The speaker is representative of the ABC corporation and he/she welcomes the delegates (to one or other conference) in the name of the corporation.

What position does a speaker hold? She may or may not be a Delegate.
