If armed forces were to commit a massacre on 20k soldiers, what would happen if they had said nothing? In this case, the rebels could draw on the support of over 10,000 soldiers, but chose not to.
…and the rebels at Granada were defeated. Later in the battle, perhaps, during a battle which they were losing were able to draw on the support
of over 20000 troops and thus emerged victorious.

I think part of the term you’re looking for is “dissonance” which the Oxford Dictionary defines as ” Lack of agreement between people or things or feelings or emotions. There
is such a thing as sensorial dissonance but that seems more related to physical sensations not jiving with reality (such as when you jump into a cold pool just so that the temperature is warmer than the wind, even though it is actually colder) This is the closest I could come up with, however.
Cognitive dissonance is something else altogether, the ability to hold twice the same opinion.

Assuming you’re in the US (which is not a good assumption, but I’m sure there are analogous services in every developed country), you can go to the US Postal Service website to get the approved address format for your location, including abbreviation for road types. Also, specialized for street suffixes, you can check this handy-dandy chart.

Would people from different schools suddenly stop to dream about your wish? Per the Oxford Dictionaries:
prevent
VERB
Stop (with
- OBJECT) Keep (something) from happening or arising.
What is the synonym for prevent?
I like thwart, but I could also see rule out, preclude, and forestall fitting.

I’d recommend a shot in the dark photo. Wild guess is a perfectly fine phrase, but if you don’t like that one,
I’d suggest a shot (or stab) in
the
dark photo.

To my mind, from and of have different connotations.
To free HK from bottles implies to me at least, an ongoing situation. What’s more, Hong Kong’s government is no longer dealing with plastic bottles.
Why are HK plastic bottles banned? A lot of people have outgrown their bottles waiting to be taken out. Something has to get them out of the way. What does it say about the past, not necessarily address the future situation, but only the way it is now based on past usage.
As for rid versus free, I think they’re pretty much equivalent, although free does somewhat suggest unshackling, if you will, rather than just getting rid of something. What is it like that plastic bottles are mainly problem in HK? If there is a lot of animals nearby, be rid of them.
