What does it mean to
“represented them as”: MichelsonMorley experiments weren’t the failure … To “make something out to be” something else is to portray it in a certain light. If I make you look like a great guy, I’ll be talking about you. I’ll just be saying good things about you. If they make you out to be a jerk when they call me a jerk, it’s
an all-out compliment.

Is “delegated” carries with it the connotation that one is acting as a representative of a superior in carrying out a task. “Assigned” is not an invitation to do a task. It is merely “told” to do a task. However, “Assigned” is meaning to accomplish.
If I were your superior, I could delegate you to carry out one of my tasks or assign you a task of your own level.

Is there acknowledgement
from the consolidation of the material?
“award”
comes from a consolidation of material.
The
consolidation constitutes further acknowledgement.
Is the process like that?
I wonder why the demonstration pronoun this bothers you so much, does @RegDwight? I find this very puzzling, as this is not only common and clear but allows for more succinct referencing of subjects than other constructions might. However in truth, many people are not. When the antecedent is unclear, the only time it becomes hard to parse as (and not automatically) it becomes correlated. , when it is the subject of a clause or sentence which might refer to multiple subjects from a previous clause or sentence.

I think served is the only word that really works here. The ambiguity of handled leaves one open for the Beavises and Buttheads of the world to snicker and joke. While expedited doesn’t take human beings as direct objects. All things can be expedited, but no people can be.
What does @beetstra has offered helped as a synonym for, and that can do its job. That done implies someone assisted people not necessarily sold someone something.
@RegDwight had just offered dealt and had. I submit that had may not be particular enough, and has the same Beavis and Butthead problems that handled does. When it comes to words “dealt with”, it’s not very obvious but it does have a clear meaning. One “deals with” the problems, and might say a certain person should be “dealt with” if he causes trouble,
etc. One talks about “man who deals with problems” and can be “dedicated with”.

How does a quotation about Larry Ellison’s company affect the people who don’t know anything about him are given?
While it may seem obvious for native speakers, it is also equally noticeable for those who understand what programming and programming is. No professional in the industry would ever assume that “Oracle Migration” was something but
The Process of Migrating To (or from, it makes no difference) Using Oracle Instead of Another Database Provider
which may include, but would not be limited to, existing database engines, software products, support contracts, etc.
