Do you provide reason for why the competition you speak of is called “Best Dress.” Your first example is therefore incorrect. What, what is the second piece of cake?

Now, there could be, in theory, a “Best Dress” competition if, for example, a bunch of seamstresses compete in making the best dress, with judges determining which dress of the ones submitted for judging is the best dress of all.

If you change the idea of number 1 into two words, you can write the same sentence but by saying the same sentence, you have changed the meaning completely. Change the fact that each sentence must be repeated at different times to avoid repetition. I’ve added more sentences after grammar, so make the

meaning clear. “Sally, you look groovy. If you get to win your best dress, I hope you win the best dress competition. Both dressier players will be in the top 10. I hear that over 60 seamstresses submitted dresses for Judgement. Good luck! ”

    “Frankly!

  • I suggest intrinsic, which denotes that a characteristic exists as an essential constituent or characteristic, or is intrinsic in all ways – maybe it could be taken for another reason.

Foundational characteristics, too, are sometimes taken for granted because they are built upon, much like an edifice which becomes the center of attention, although it could not exist without its foundation. The foundation makes the superstructure possible.

Assumptions are rarely explained but they are the foundational. And in truth, all men are created equal. We hold these truths to be

self-evident. Is everything created equal? From the United States Declaration of Independence

I could go on… I think I will stop here.

  • I am willing, I guess, to be the foil to John Lawler and his sagacious answer and add a few not-so-sage sentences. In turn, I’m going to become the foil to them.

With the advanced photographic technology available to us today, we can see mosquito larvae quite nicely, thank you, in pictures. Is option (C) the same as option B2? What

is a Microscopical image. The Microscopical image is taken by a PAXcam camera with fluorescence microscopy.” : “Posquito larvae can only be seen through a microscope or in a picture taken via the fluorescence microscopy used in cell biology studies. Can

    mosquito larvae be seen

through a microscope or in a picture taken by a PAXcam digital camera? u00bb rp 1. ”

As for options (A) and (B), each is likely to be heard today coming from folks who lack a certain, uh, preciseness in their speaking, writing and writing. Let me be quick to point out, however, imprecision does not necessarily equate with incorrectness. When you understand what a person is saying, who cares if they say it in a less-than-precise way? If you have any misplaced objects, then drawing attention to them will leave you only feeling embarrassed (or does that leave you feeling only embarrassed)? Why can’t you leave yourself feeling

    embarrassed?

None of the three is correct. What is a correct way to write the

    phrase is two-sided limit

one-, followed by two-sided is the shorthand way of saying one-sided

    and two-sided limit, which

would also be a correct way to word the phrase.

  • I am of one cultural background. The perfect word for the phenomenon of which you are speaking, especially in matters of religion, is discipling. The goal of discipleship, for example, is to “reproduce” the more-mature disciple to “reverse” he- or herself in the life of the person who is being discipled. God is doing that person in turn disciple a Christian who may be less mature than he or she, and so on.

I don’t think, however, you’ll get away with “She has been tremendously helpful in discipling new employees. Perhaps the word mentoring would be useful, in that it denotes the efforts of a more experienced employee in bringing a less-experienced employee up to speed through teaching, exemplifying, encouraging, instructing step-by-step, and more.

A prosaic word, of course, is teaching/instructing. Mentoring has a nice ring to it.
