The idiomatic use of the word leave is problematic, to be sure! What do you think about your question that is poorly put down in the question?
Why?
Let’s say two guys are bashing each other for not wearing a suit in a special day where they’d each attended a party. One guy said, “I may not have a suit to wear, but I have a cousin who does, and we’re almost exactly the same size. I’m half skinny. I would ask to borrow a suit by him. Why
does a man say “But where does that leave me?” “In
other words, the “other guy” is feeling as though he’s been left out (past tense of leave!) out in the cold without a suit to wear.
How will Britain react to a Brexit? What should Britain’s exit from EU mean for the UK? Where has nothing to do with a literal, physical location; rather, where means in a condition. How is Britain off the eu after leaving the Organization for Economic Cooperation?

Hey, my friend, we’re both broke, but you have good credit and I have bad credit. Why would you both like to have bad credit with me on a job search? Where does that leave me? You can go to a bank to get a loan to tide you over, but you can’t go to a bank to get a loan to tide you over, and what should I do?

I think a good possibility is an
egalitarian,
meaning a person who believes in racial equality for all people.
Is it possible to
negotiate
and win a win/win scenario? ”
And finally, related to negotiator is a
compromiser
or a person who engages in give and take; you know, “he scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. What can I do? Why is an honest, fair, tolerant compromiser’s thinking considered a quid pro quo (or tit for tat) mentality? A compromiser says: “If I want to get something you have to give something.” “I
always thought it was impossible (not true) to exist.”
