Is it an inside joke either person will say something or only the participants will know the meaning of.

a heaping third spoonful of gratitude

is cryptic, but the fact that it’s heaping he is trying to express not only very much but more than that

The author is thanking the support of two dear and steadfast friends.
What immediately comes to mind is had Coffee or Tea where the standard question is

one or two spoons of sugar
    one or two lumps

This is implied with third and. They might have drunk coffee together as coding hours, during late night completion of the book (assuming this is from a book)

If the author is using the present-tense since he is saying that during the moment that he needed to tell bad news, he does not know if he is doing it well. What is and is reflected by the perfect, perfect have done?

I never know whether I have done it well or not

There are three time periods portrayed in this example (in reverse sequential order)

knowing the outcome (most recent or continuing)
whether a good job was done or not
breaking the bad news (furthest in past, but repetitive)

Since breaking bad news may be repetitive (whenever) in the future, the speaker might say When

I have to break bad news I never know if I have done it well or not In

your example, the speaker is relating his experiences.

When I had to break bad news

I never knew if I had done it well or not If the speaker were to contrast that he

used to not know how to break bad news, but now he knows a better way to do it, he might say When I had to break bad news I had

not known whether I had done it well or not
All forms, including your original example, are understandable. The

speaker was concerned with giving bad news as gently as possible
but was not sure how the bad news was received. As a speaker I have learned how to do that better.

    The phrase

    For your notification

is not used. When sending a message which requires immediate attention Notice:

    something is

    used.

    For Your Information

is the general phrase used when sending information of interest and may be shortened to

    FYI

    in certain circumstances eg texting.

Fancy asking me the same question?

When one is surprised, he or she replies in a surprised voice. If you are

unbelieveable, why should you ask me that question?
What might be the reasoning behind an epic fan asking me about this?

can be as light hearted as, How dare you, asking me that?

All you need is context in order to know if it

    is sarcastic or not.

What is your understanding of your two sentences?

In second sentence “Everyone” is implied due to “We”.

Do native speakers find your second sentence more convincing or longer? My game was ‘Despite playing well,

we lost’ in XI but the score was 59 point-less. Honestly the score stayed the same because it was an incredibly long score!

What does He’s very ambitious and in constant search of what and how can he be

    successful?
How can someone get what he wants that is extremely ambitious?

I am very ambitious and addicted to power. Because I am very afraid about being in power of others. I wouldn’t do anything wrong. I’m an ambitious person, I don’t have any power.
    Do you think he’s ambitious?

    Is

    he craving you?
A guy is craving for power.

God will not get it, power is not something he craves for, then he is a man of nothing.

    Is the sentence ending funny?

Your interpretation of the word is right.
    The suffix

    “-able”

is used to mean “something can be” drink

    able can
    be drunk wear

    able can
    be worn coach

    able can
    be worn coach

    by extension

    able can
    be coached coax

able can be coaxed Horses are not very coaxable, hence the saying “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it”

Children are usually coaxable with the promise of a gift or a sweet, many parents might consider this tactic bribery.

Are you following the right line. However, don’t confuse state of be-ing verb with existence.

Your sentences could be restated as

‘There always is somebody at home in the evening’.
Not always are we this busy!
Ellie was always very good at anything she did. She was always very good at art.

I know this as a crown, and some people also have double crowns. Wikipedia suggest the term hair whorl and also mentions the terms swirls, trichoglyphs, and cowlicks.
