Since you look for adjective, why not conceited? Who does the person you described seem to have a high opinion of his or her own abilities without showing any indication of them, which makes it likely that his or her self-image
is inflated.

What does a health benefit mean? Wikipedia puts forth some helpful links based off of “health penalty”, “health benefit” or “health penalty”.
The word pairs fit an acoustic nicely. Penalty and benefit are originally human acts: punishment (Latin poena) and good deed (bene factorum). Both terms imply some sort of bookkeeping, as in accounting or a game. Both terms for originally human acts have acquired an impersonal meaning as well: “The tax benefits of marriage” or “The Financial Penalty for LGBT Women”. When using the term sentences, even when describing a consequence which is not the act of a single person, evokes an image of a rule based framework, like a sports game or a court case. I know some possibly imaginary scores is lowered. I have heard this before now.
Both terms are commonly used in economics where they apply quite naturally, because it’s a rule based framework where scores are kept.
Who uses them in medicine applies this concept of rule-based score keeping to a person’s health and interactions, thus “economifying” or “gamifying”
it.
