    A real difficulty with this question is the gradual grading of animals per se into things that are “animal-ish” (to coin a word), especially since the boundary has been shifting back and forth quite recently due to advances in gene sequencing technology. When choanoflagellates and Ministeria vibrans dries out the water, are they really wet?

    Could metered eukaryotic organisms

    be termed as Metazoan?
