I think it’s hard to know the full context, but I believe “from an unsupervised decision-making point of view” can be beneficial. Generally, if the approach to decision-making depends on whether you are supervised, the other phrase might also be appropriate.

The word decision-making is used as a compound adjective, so it should be

hyphenated. Where a “decision making” is important the context can be ambiguous.

Did it happen once like hi-vis? This is clearly to do with the word “vise”, (by non speaking)I

think it’s clear that you don’t mean “vise” into your dictionary.
