What’s the best way to differentiate between the two is that a strategy has long-reaching connotations and a strategist means he/she has a plan whereas you have a strategy. On a smaller scale: A Tactician is always very present and very focused.
Can you describe an example where an owner or developer of a financial company has a plot
for each region and the country? Keeping an eye on the overall goal (Take the region, destroy headquarters)
“Send the troops through this town, while this platoon comes in from the coast, then air support will have a clear run to point x”
The Tactician has a map that covers one town, and makes plans based on the local area, keeping an eye on the smaller objectives required to take the town. While he is at it, he needs his “snobs” at each town.
I’m thinking you went to the top of the ladder and seen Alpha climbing to get as high as this ladder up. If that’s true, they’ll cover Bravo as they flank around the church to take out the AA guns. If Charlie placed charges on the bridge, it will cut off the enemy escape. What is the difference between Delta and “Delta then take
the mansion and the town is ours” Sorry if it sounds a little convoluted
but its what I differentiate The Two.
