Is there any logical argument which could justify “he got married to his successful wife”? It would have to be “He married into a prosperous family” (although this might just be a difference between American English and British English).
We got married outside London. What are some hints (but not definitively) that it could have happened? ” (because that is the place) “He got married to London” would mean they had 1 child called “London”.
He got married around London. is so wrong! You could ask ‘near’ if the location was outside the wedding location is not far from London etc. On the radio you could say in or by if you knew it wasnt far from London or possibly
in London.
