How the NOAD has the following notes about effective, effectual, efficacious, efficient “all of these
adjectives mean producing or capable of producing a result” but they are not interchangeable. Use effective when you want to describe something that produces a definite effect or result (“an effective speaker who was able to rally the crowd’s support”) and efficacious when it produces the desired effect or result (“an efficacious remedy that cured her almost immediately”). If something produces the desired effect or result in a decisive manner, make use effectual (“an effectual recommendation that got him the job”), an adjective that is often employed when looking back after an event is over (“an effectual strategy that finally turned the tide in their favor”). Reserve the use of efficient when you want to imply skill and economy of energy in producing the desired result (“so efficient in her management of the company that layoffs were not necessary”). When applied to people, efficient means capable or competent (an efficient homemaker) and places less emphasis on the achievement of results and more on the skills involved.

In USA, penny is used for the 1 cent coin, $2. In India, dollar is used for $1. In United States, clerical issues are not acceptable I have also heard pennies being used to mean “a small amount of money,” such as in: It is
a miracle I can save a few pennies every month.
As far as I recall, I have never heard pence being used as plural of penny, except maybe when referring to the British coins.
I have visited the East coast, from upper New York state to Washington D.C. I don’t know if the usage of those words changes in other places.
I have been there 4 years and love it.

I can think of inflame, stir up, galvanize, goad, goad, or rouse.
Is it useful to read the note of NOAD?
Would a riot incite one by creating a rioting atmosphere? If I instigate an action, however, it implies that I am responsible for initiating it and that the purpose is likely a negative or evil one ( the man who instigated the assassination plot ).
Foment suggests agitation or incitement over an extended period of time ( foment a discussion ; foment the rebellion that leads to war ). Which is better, a fomenter or instigator? Can you provoke a riot in the same way that you instigate one, but the emphasis here is on spontaneity rather than on conscious design ( her statement provoked an outcry from animal rights activists ).
To arouse is to awaken a feeling or elicit a response (my presence in the junkyard aroused suspicion ), or to open people’s eyes to a situation ( we attempted to arouse public awareness ).
You could even persuade people to take action as a provocation and a command or response from you. It’s not enough heaving them, but it could act as a prayer or a commotion. How did you define the term “service”?

The New Oxford American Dictionary is described as “Contrary to or forbidden by law, especially criminal law”, and described unlawful as “not conforming to, permitted by or recognized by law or rules”. In American English, then illegal is used in phrases like illegal alien, where it means a person present in a country without official authorization and which is never replaced by unlawful. In some parts of this country, and particularly in the United States, is illegal (only in the sense that illegal is a national “non-resident”)
On looking at the Oxford English Dictionary, I found a note about the usage of illegal and unlawful;?
Is “illegal” and “unlawful” different, but they are often used interchangeably? What’s illegal is against the law, whereas an unlawful act merely contravenes the rules that apply in a particular context. But a handball is not and still is, despite being involved in soccer. If illegal are things, there is no harm in them: there is much social evil in them. A third word with similar meaning is illicit.
