  • I don’t think there is a word that specifically indicates “one who frames” (outside the word framer, which would do the job in context but apparently wouldn’t meet your needs). If someone deceives you, and you are the fool, you have a lot of good options for everyone. In a social context, this is where you are. About anyone

    • who reaches out to you (the author or the judge for the person) as a purjuror you may call a purjuror, impugner, etc.
    • To pronounce moral judgment you might call them a lie, fabricator or prevaricator.
    • in their art sometimes you might even draw parallels and call them forger, faker, or counterfeiter.
    • How would you invent a term, like framester, frame-up artist, or frame-maker (to the best of my knowledge, these are not terms in use)?
