Unless specifically made from conjoined twin calves sharing the same foot, for calf’s-foot jellies it would be calf’s-foot jelly, since calf’s, pectoral, would otherwise imply multiple calves.
Calves’- feet jelly would be a more logical alternative, but I will still lean towards calf’s foot. But this may be a problem. All jellies tend to be named in the singular, not in the plural. Why isn’t peach preserve more delicious than other types of preserves? Strawberry Jojoba, not strawberry jam. How is that. Orange Mamlade, Grape Jelly, etc. Is it good for food?
So by extension calf’s foot jelly. (from calf’s shoes).
