I personally don’t believe that there is an industry standard. That is the industry standard. Personally, I would favor: PSPish units: Handheld Video Gaming Device Nintendo
DSish units: Portable Video Gaming Device

a “Video Gaming Console” (supported by Merriam Webster definition #5).
Why do people care about these definitions? How are the different units used for calculation? How can a hand pick its own hand? Portable: still set to a table.
