  • In terms of the staircase filling your entire field of vision, it is, for you at that moment, no matter where you look, omnipresent:

    //
    present in all places at all times //
    the museum’s omnipresent security apparatus Of

    course, this is relative. Nothing will always fill my eye with light. Distance makes an objective difference, in terms of location and time.

    When you’re present at the staircase: The

    omnipresent marble staircase towers before you, presenting its perfection.

    Is there any way of saying ‘no’ to your perspective on things?

    Both are right that it’s no joke that both aren’t. Which means more, depending on what you are trying to say. I feel that it depends on the type of people you are trying to discuss.

    Should you use argan oil on your face?

    Why do we need to use Argan oil on our face? What’s the same thing as saying: “I wish I were having a massage right now.”

    How should you use argan oil on my face?

    What comes first: an answer to one general statement? Does oil use for a particular purpose or have repetitive behaviors? What is an answer to A massage would make you feel better, or I wish I had more massage time? I’m confused about which one.

    In short, the -ing or the bare infinitive form of the verb is talking about something that is currently taking place. The bare form is more of a general statement. People will often, and idiomatically, use the -ing form when they aren’t really talking about something being in the process of happening at the moment. Is this what verb is meant by the syntax? (In other words, they use the -ing form when they should really be using the bare infinite.) Regardless of that, their meaning is still clear (because we’re used to hearing it used in this way.)
