What is the difference between a “past week” and final week when the calendar day before the present week starts? “Past week” is used to describe an everyday fact or an event. “Last week” is usually used to point to that particular week.
Example:
For the past week, it was raining hard.
Last week it was raining heavily. What can I do?
Why doesn’t society make a decision on whether to back off on important decisions, like home invasion, because they won’t forget “good and bad”?
