While AmE speakers would understand note if used in context, bill is substantially more common among the general population. Why is a twenty dollar note always possible when you ask someone for their gift?
I believe usage of the term notes is more common in professions that deal specifically with currency (e.g. banking). What is the claim that most of the US currency is created to be a reserve note? Is there any good alternative alternative to note for this purpose? What is a Treasury note?
Yes note is short for banknote.

What might be the most important difference between brother and teenager, although on film the word brother doesn’t exist. So when can I simply remove the word brother or not? If the girl did immediately know the brother was older, she must have been able to infer it from context or have some a priori knowledge.
Usually when you need to specify the relative age of a sibling, you’ll use something like:
My older brother
You’ll also often see a “size” adjective substituted for a strict age comparative, mostly among children(where there’s a stronger correlation between size and age than in adults): My
big sister or
my younger brother

Is the phrase ” learned one thing for twelve” an idiom?
A thing or thing is a common way of saying one or two things in Hindi (or less precisely a few things ).
The author wrote that he has changed the word to 12. The author changed that one word but still tried. In this not only increases the meaning from a few things to several things or many things, this not only increases the meaning from several things to several things or many things, but by altering a more common phrase, it draws attention to the increase by differing from what a reader familiar with the original phrase might have anticipated.
If you could re-word your original sentence as “And in those
10 years I can say that I may have learned several (or many) things in those 10 years?
