In this context, life expectancy is used. In US tax regulations, you can withdraw from your retirement account a minimum distribution. The amount will depend on your life expectancy, and no taxation returns. Obviously, you may outlive the government’s original estimate, but you will not have been required to exhaust your assets.

I recognize Spanish and Yiddish so I’ve suggested cross-laws in the English word. Can people also adopt ELU?

“Teaching Assistant” is often a formal job title, and at the university level is used for a senior student (generally an M.A. or Ph.D. candidate) who is compensated. “Student teacher” as others have stated, frequently use for future teachers’ practicum at the elementary or secondary level.
I would recommend “tutor” or “peer tutor” at an arrangement where the mentor is neither paid nor working towards a permanent position.
