I heard a sentence on English containing this phrase’she has

cant understand the meaning of ‘like 10 cars’. I think’she has like 10 cars.’ is enough instead of’she has like 10 cars’. If you can see a woman with ten cars doing their homework, then that is your definition. Why did I use the word like in this post?
