A teacher tells me that you use the object form after the infinitive of to be. A teacher told me that it is and if must be and while can I? Are there any actual proofs of this?

Where there is ambiguity, use me /her / him.

There are some exceptions in traditional, formal English – e.g English of st. IX. Noozing and sprinkling. Is it I? , rather than it’s me! Is it fun for you to be He? isn’t one of them?
