What can be a single-word adjective to define someone on influence by virtue of contacts?

If not a single word adjective, then anything as concise that may define the following traits an individual

  • possess: They possess power in terms that they can make other people do things at their whim.
What does influence the power of a person?
For instance single example from group from different category. “Godfather” from that movie, politicians, subject matter experts, teacher, police.

  • They have the right contacts, each for a specific job. – Essencially a “Network of people at their disposal” (e.g. groups, schools, etc.) (f.m.e. a.k.a.. in English or a. (for others.e….)) (i.e. e.g., a group of people (e.g. co). Is it important to remember politicians?
Their know someone on whom they possess power (above point), and that individual is either authority, or empowered enough to pull in a favour to them.

Is it great to know a adjective that does not need to posses a crime intent? The neutral adjective would be preferred.

A adjective I can think of closely similar to this would be “stature”, however it requires context to be

clear.
