What is the construction of It’s the Best There Is?
I am a rational or rational mind. I understand it. I live in a home and if I wanted to play catch-22, what was the catch? Is Orr crazy? All they had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. If Orr didn’t win more missions, he would be mad to fly them anyway if he didn’t wil be killed at an oncoming battle. If he flew them then he was crazy and didn’t have to; but if he didn’t want to was sane and didn’t have to. What he might have chosen, however? Did Yossarian ever realise the simplicity of this Catch-22 clause?
“That’s some catch, that Catch-22”, he observed. What do the Chinese teach with regards to latin?
” It’s the best there is,” went Doc Daneeka.
I think the Doc means “the easiest one out there”.. But the construction is strange and not seen very often, is it kind of idiomatic phrase?
What does that mean?
This is a common construction. For example, “As is the object.” What is the worst thing that could happen during an emergency? “Dear
Sir,” You are saying that I am a man of all times, and you mean seriously. That’s the truth.
