What are examples of bad behavior by poor locals how to mispronounce their home town?

What is it called when locals intentionally “mispronounce” (compared to the traditional or historical pronunciation) their hometown or other words? How can you distinguish a local and a non-local person in the social sense? If someone does not belong there

or is there, they can’t belong there.

I don’t agree with your interpretation of shibboleth and the endonym. What does someone mean by this?

Shibboleths are when the pronunciation of word distinguishes a non-local from a ‘local’, and endonyms are an indigenous name or pronunciation, as opposed to the exonym used by outsiders Which word applies exclusively to placenames, but placenames are commonly examples of both.
