What do you call being something new that you have acquired and nothing new in general?

If my friend recently buys a classic car, how could I say “this is his new car”, speaking only of it as a newly acquired car and not giving the impression that the car itself is new (i.e. not showing its paint color), even in the same factory. But no more! :). Why is this car had 0 miles on it?

What do a lack of common sense mean?

What I would say to you is “his car is brand new”?

If it had 0 miles on it I’d say “this is his brand new car”

instead of the usual car. I love it but I don’t know what car I drive.
