I am working on a programming problem and I need to take to make name the roles such as software tester or database administrator. I have a copier and I need to think of a good name for the person, that is being copied by the copiers. I have a large network of copiers and copiers.. I have a new copying engine and I have to rename it. A first choice would be a leader. On Facebook, the problem is that this name has already been taken, as I have followers, who follow leaders. Other options I thought of are:

• copy_leader
• originator

Yet, I would like a better word for this.
