What are the best places to find details of the Brexit situation in the UK, and where do you seek information on the current Brexit mess?

Is *UK-II related to F * *K? How? How does the Economist transpose the letter “CI” to make it more polite and clever? If United Kingdom seems to refer to United Kingdom, why does someone say this?

I know this should be obvious, and I will hit myself on the head when it is explained. But for now the inscrutable Brits have me baffled.
