Is it rude to overuse “estimated time to completion”?

Knowing time to arrive in Europe is how much time it takes. When you are traveling, you probably want to know your ETA for the next process. I will try again later.

How many times should you use ETA for a completion date? There is no colloquia for “ETC”, particularly since that could be confused with “et cetera” in writing.

What in your opinion is it fair to use ETA for the total time to completion? I believe the other party would understand, but I am more concerned with proper grammatical usage.

ETA is also used metaphorically in situations where nothing actually moves physically, as in describing the time to complete a certain task (e.g. an assembly part and a meeting part). Work undertaken by an individual; a computation done by a computer program; or process undertaken by an organization). The associated term is “estimated time of achievement”, which may be a backronym. For example, Bittorrent clients specify ETAA as the expected time remaining for a file to completely download as 1d4h (1 day and 4 hours), 1w2d (1 week and 2 days), etc.

I personally use and hear it subsequently quite a lot, and it’s quite common in technologic application in terms of down/Uploading files in terms of the

cellular applications. I suppose even a very simple way, but it’s very important, will put very much more effort in making it sound good; just make it sound good.

If an AMES name indicates an expected date for completion or delivery of a project, a product or a report (and the like), its the “drop dead date”. ”

From as in”I see your company is trying to have the new golf course operational by this spring – what is your drop dead date?? ”

” what is the meaning of “””, and how can this “come alive?

I often see: ECD on a project matrix: Estimated completion date.

Project Management:

The Humphreys Association provides the answers to numerous questions about completing a project and the cost and schedule goals are met within the authorized budget… The Estimated at Completion (EAC) and the Estimated Completion Date (ECD) are the measures used to provide the answers to this question.

Casually, ETA sounds fine, but the hour is important at a airline or train station, more than to a project task measure in days.
