Use of contractions in formal writing. (Of course, only plural words are used in formal writing).
I learned that we should not use contraction like she’s or she’d or in formal writing. This is hardly an issue for English literature.
However, newspaper editorial uses them. Is the sentence above already accepted? What does newspaper editorials mean?

When a contraction starts out making more sense & less strange is that the use of contractions in the sentences is reasonable.
