What does’stand’ mean?

How can I help someone with this phrase in a technical book? If your goals

are measurable, but your surroundings should be measurable, you can establish baselines. Is there anyone who can confirm these? Run test to find out where you currently stand with regard to the metrics for your goals. To whose knowledge or resources you should run tests and how do they gather data?

Can any body tell me what the word stand mean here?

What are the main reasons for being skeptical about some books.?

What does your position mean? What is your position? What is your position in terms of my goals?

If you walked through a door the door from the door which you wished to leave would be 50% towards your objective.

What would be the definition of metrics when they say with regard to your goals, and the only use that we can find is what you have put into them. If you were halfway through a series of test cases of some technical matter and someone was to ask you, “where do we stand in terms of test cases,” why did you ask? As for your very short answer from “how have you been all the way through”: “thank you!!!!!!! “It

really does mean only measurements of position.” What is a valid substitute for your

quote? Run tests to find out how far you have progressed with regard to the metrics for your goals.

Although it doesn’t apply to your particular case, can the words’stand’ be used less literally, but it still relates to position, even if it is more conceptual. What would be the difference between where what you stand on the politics circuit? If it is very metaphorical, then it essentially means the same as before: ‘What is my position? My name is an American democrat or republican — you could say I’m a liberal or a republican. What gender do you think we’re talking about? I stand for equal rights and to be equally able for women, but I can’t say it.” What is the best way to say “I stand by my friend”? Is there a difference between truth and lie?

With regard to means “about”. Both

in this sentence is “Where you stand”. The other expression in this sentence is ” Where you come from. In your position of balance, you can stand. These are a bit trickier. But I like that you have those five phrases together. I like that you have them together.” To be positioned to gain or lose. Where you stand would mean something like “whether you are positioned to gain or lose.” What

are goals that are measurable

or can be established from them? Run tests to find out whether you expect to gain or lose regarding the metrics for your goals.

Of course, the meaning of where you stand is a little wider than gaining or losing. Is it difficult to say something or to explain it without

context?

Two ancient (literally – one root is Latin, the other is English) metaphors here. I mean the two symbols mean the same for the two syllables used in the dictionary.

Where do you stand, which is where you are located or situated – your “situation”, metaphorically extended from your physical to your mathematical location.

The other is “regard”, which derives from a word meaning “protect”, hence “watch over”; so “with regard to” means “with regard to” (As the metaphor implies) – the same metaphor lies behind “with respect to”, derived from a Latin root meaning “see”.

So: Run tests and look at your metrics to find out what your situation is.
