I want to write a motivation letter. I’m having doubts when writing about me. Can my words stand a good tone, are they adequate or correct?

  1. To enroll in this course will allow me to pursue my career goal of considerably improve and update my skill (vs considerably improving and updating my skills)
  2. I worked remotely as a free-lancer for a company which challenged me to transmit data through ultrasound in air (vs challenged me to transmitting data through ultrasound in air )

More interested than in knowing which option is correct, I’m interested in understanding why. I am a Spanish native to Peru. I read

Spanish and English books. So, i’m a native Spanish speaker. Why and how can I speak Spanish correctly?

If you have a gerund for the first sentence, the suffix -energ will produce a gerund you want to use as a noun, in one sentence. Your sentence will be noun and all or nothing. What are your career goals?

Is it possible to complete a task using the infinitive or a purely descriptive form?

At each point the goal of significantly improve doesn’t make grammatical sense.
