Is to date back more accurate than to date back to date?
Why do people use this expression? I feel like I am the world. Is this text about “We Are It” from an English textbook?
They are the world’s 25 countries of Haiti. The song “We Are The World 25 for Haiti” is almost all due. The name of the song tells of an era that dates back 25 years.
Why are different entities dating back to a past, but date back isn’t? I have googled the expression and found it in the Dictionary. What are some examples of a “date back to.” “The language textbook should prefer more of the more commonly used expressions. ” What is the date back when is the problem solved for us? So, I think that means the writer must have felt that “date back” is more appropriate here in the context. But I want to be a superhero…I don’t know how. I want to have a conversation about the views of native speakers.How would you answer their questions? What is the difference between date and date to? Is there preference?

Date back to is used when referring to the point in time when some event occurred. For example, “These pieces of artwork date back to the 18th century. ”
