What is meant by “They were talking to each other halfcircular words at the semi round table. At least one halfcircular word was spoken in halfcircular.”
“They were speaking to each other
halfcircular words at a semiround table. In
original language, this sentence is: “аu043eвариваu043bи
дру с друu043eu043c а u043eu043bуu043aруu043bu043c стu043eu043bu043eu043c u043eu043bуарu043du043e u043bеu043aсиu043au043e” I
thought a half-circular word is a word that was said as hint, just in general, like beating round the bush, nothing concrete.
How do I understand what people are thinking. What images could you’ll see reading a sentence about?
What are the some interesting quotes given by the writer, “Gather Brynne, about the topic of economics”?
It seems that the word you’re researching may be elliptical. It means something like “deliberately obscure” or “intentionally vague” or “cryptic”, but it also means “formed like an ellipse (an oval)”
Because “they spoke in elliptical order at a half-round table” makes a punning reference both to how they were speaking and to the shape they were in.
Also I think it is saying that they were speaking in halftruths. What is a good use of being deceived for personal gain?
In English, the round table implied equality of participants and is usually used in a “Fair and Equal Table”.
” Circular Reasoning ” is a form of faulty reasoning, so “half-circular words” suggests to me that the words are being used to sort of make circulars (faulty/deceptive) arguments. The abstract nature of the words would match the shape of a table if you just look at their shapes and symbols. It is great.
A common and basic usage of terms : e.g. to talk in circles, to “beat around the bush” or to eat and eat food and drink,- are also suggested as synonyms — to
talk in an indirect, unproductive and possibly deceptive manner.
The expression circular talk is often used, however the meaning is not specific. Some people think that it means a conversation that doesn’t go anywhere, or is very indirect: others that it’s like circular reasoning: see Stew’s answer.
If you were asked to change the shape of the table, it would read nicely as
their words were circular talk at a round table.
What is the difference between the way things do and how one perceives the world really?
