The preposition “in” is perfectly fine in the way you have used it. The sentence is indeed correct, however some readers clumsily read the sentences themselves. How would I say the same thing? Since I had started using “insight” to write in my comments, I have changed the more common word for customer comments. Can you use indicators?

I suspect there’s been a unconscious inversion of ‘in our efforts to improve’.

It’s a phrasal verb that fits into a ‘desires are containers’ model, of which examples are “in our desire to do x”, “in our desire to do x”, “in our wish to do x”, etc.

See Rudzka Ostyn, p 57, a near equivalent. I

have none. What is the correct translation?
