“Interaction” vs. “Are you still satisfied with your assignment? What is the difference between being “interacting” and “to interact”?

I am interested in the future and work closely with young researchers, and thus interested in the world of science, technology, engineering, technology.

What is the difference between interaction, “interacting” or “to interact” in Simplified English? Are they the same? What is the same question as for “cooperation”.
